I was fortunate enough to speak with him for a few moments - I didn't drag in any Prine Shrine stuff as I knew any show near Maywood, IL has him busy. He mentioned during the show how he had spent time with Mardell and her sisters and how great it was to spend the afternoon with them. He was itching to leave for more late night family commitments. I spoke with him just enough to report that he is still wonderful and as much as he wanted to get to where he was going that night, he signed autographs, answered questions, and was moved by the young woman and boy who had just lost their father and Prine's songs were the connection to his spirit. It had me all lumpy in the throat too.

 

We made small talk with Dave and Jason. I mentioned that I was getting a complex because they ducked me earlier in the afternoon. They were genuine when they said they didn't recognize me. Jason has a new jasonwilber.com website coming soon, so watch for it - you'll be able to find out more about him now. And Dave, well, he's just as silky as ever and always seems to have a friend or two waiting around for him.

 

They are so personable, and they make their mama's proud. My husband was able to get back, only to see if I was still around "You have my wife" he says, I've come to rescue them... ahem - I heard that Terry.
